West Brom have moved to clarify the spending on Tony Mowbray's squad.
Weekend media reports suggested that the Club's transfer outlay during Mowbray's two-and-a-half-year reign had been a net £3million.
But official Albion figures released today show that net spending since Mowbray's appointment is £9.25m.
Since October 2006, the Club have invested £38.6m in transfer fees on the recruitment of 31 players, of which a club-record £23.3m was spent last summer on 12 signings.
