West Brom have decided against offering terms to trialist Momo Sissoko.
Sissoko, who also played 90 minutes for James Shan's under-23 side earlier this month, has not been offered a contract over fears he would be unable to keep up with the pace of the Premier League.
The Baggies have also decided they don't need the 31-year-old, who used to play for Valencia, Liverpool, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, following the emergence of 18-year-old midfielder Sam Field, says the Express & Star.
“Sam's got all the tools to become a very good player," said head coach Tony Pulis. “He's got wonderful touches. He's got great energy as well."
