The Daily Mail says West Brom are still hopeful of persuading Birmingham City goalkeeper Foster to join on a permanent basis and, while the clubs were able to thrash out a loan agreement 12 months ago, bitterness over the managerial situation could jeopardise a move for the former England man.

The Blues are unhappy with Albion's interest in Chris Hughton.
