West Brom could have Tamas, Dorrans back for Liverpool visit

West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson has indicated that he could have a pair of players back for this weekend's visit of former club Liverpool.

Defender Gabriel Tamas and attacker Graham Dorrans are in the mix to take on the Reds at The Hawthorns whilst Hodgson expects Jerome Thomas and Paul Scharner to be fit after missing training sessions this week.

"Gabi is fit," the Baggies boss told his club's official website.

"Jerome Thomas had a slight foot bruise which kept him out on Monday and we left him out yesterday for precautionary reasons. We wanted to give him another day to get over that.

"Graham Dorrans is making good strides from his knee problem.

"He could well be back this weekend. He should be back training with us on Thursday.

"With Scharner, from the two matches playing for Austria he's had a slight tweak to the knee, so the medical staff kept him out for precautionary reasons."
