West Bromwich Albion haven't dropped their pursuit of Lille attacker Salomon Kalou.

The Express & Star says Albion's bid to land Kalou is reaching a crucial point with Hawthorns officials still convinced he will leave Lille despite his hint that he could stay in France.

Lille want the former Chelsea man off the wage bill as a cost-cutting measure and he has offers from Albion and West Ham United on the table.
