West Brom in contact with West Ham for keeper Green

West Bromwich Albion have approached West Ham United for goalkeeper Robert Green.

The Mirror says Green looks set to be sold by the Hammers following their relegation from the Premier League, and Albion want a new keeper to replace Scott Carson, who moved to Bursaspor earlier this summer.

Baggies officials have made an enquiry for the 31-year-old to discover his price-tag.

But with the squad away on a pre-season US tour, they are yet to follow up with a formal bid.
