West Brom are believed to have agreed a £2million fee with Manchester City to sign on-loan striker Ishmael Miller on a permanent basis.
And Baggies boss Tony Mowbray is keen to tie him down to a permanent contract, to be penned either in January or next summer, according toThe Mirror.
Mowbray moved to agree a fee with City now as he is aware Miller's valuation could soar if he continues to produce dazzling displays.
"Ishmael is a real goal threat," said the Albion gaffer. "Long term I hope he can score the goals to get us out of this division and if we do that I am confident he would want to join us."
