West Brom coach Ben Garner says free agent Marouane Chamakh has avoided serious injury.

Against Delhi Dynamos on Saturday, trialist Chamakh was forced off with an ankle injury after just 26 minutes following a robust challenge by Anas Edathodika.

Garner said: “It was a high tackle, but hopefully it won't be an injury that will keep him out for too long."

The striker is available after coming off contract at Crystal Palace.
