West Bromwich Albion coach Michael Appleton says Carlos Vela could see action against Tottenham this weekend.
The Mexico striker is on-loan from Arsenal.
Appleton says it is easy to tell that Vela has grown up under Arsene Wenger's tutelage at the Emirates Stadium.
"Carlos has got lots of skill and is a good mover across the ground," he told the WBA website.
"He's very smooth, as you would imagine from Arsenal players.
"He finds clever little areas of space in training and we have seen that in the games when he has come on.
"Arsenal identify certain types of players, especially when they're looking at attacking players, and he fits into that mould."
