West Bromwich Albion coach Michael Appleton says they're delighted with the progress of George Thorne.
The midfielder impressed in West Brom's friendly against Southampton last week.
"He's only going to get better," Appleton told the WBA website.
"He's only 18 and the more experiences you get like last night the better it will be for him."
