West Bromwich Albion have received special permission to have their shirts sponsored on a match-by-match basis.
Baggies finance director Mark Jenkins said: "The Football League has clarified that we are able to offer shirt sponsorship deals short-term."
Albion, wearing unsponsored shirts for a second season in a row, carried the England World Cup 2018 bid logo in their opening game against Newcastle.
The club hope to strike similar deals for their next three televised games.
