West Brom chief unlikely to drop £25m asking price for Tottenham, Newcastle target Berahino

West Bromwich Albion chairman Jeremy Peace is refusing to lower his valuation of unsettled striker Saido Berahino.

Berahino's last starting appearance for the Baggies was on October 31, but Peace is remaining stubborn and refusing to sell the 22-year-old despite interest from Tottenham, Newcastle United and Stoke City.

The Daily Mail is reporting Peace knocked back Spurs' £23million bid for Berahino in the summer due to the highly incentivised nature of the deal and is unlikely to offload the youngster this winter.

It is understood Peace has placed a £25million price tag on Berahino, despite interested clubs valuing the play at closer to £18million due to his long spell without regular first team action.

It is believed West Brom will also not sell the player until they have lined up a suitable replacement.
