West Bromwich Albion chief executive Mark Jenkins is flying to China for talks with the club's owner Guochuan Lai.

The owner, and the club's main sponsors Palm, are not happy with the way the season has unfolded.

Despite sacking Tony Pulis in the middle of the season and appointing Alan Pardew, West Brom are no better off.

The team are now in serious danger of relegation, and it would take a minor miracle for them to survive.

Pardew is still in charge, and it appears his fate could be determined by this meeting between Lai, the club's sponsors and Jenkins in China.
