West Bromwich Albion chief Richard Garlick says they're prepared to spend big on the right attacking signing.
A striker and a winger is needed by Albion.
Asked whether Albion would be prepared to spend a significant cash sum to secure a player, Garlick answered in the Birmingham Mail: "The 'right' player has to fit into the parameters we've got, but we can't pigeon hole too much so if it's right for us then why not?
"There are plenty of strikers and wingers out there but they might not fit the profile of what we want.
"People might think someone is a good player but he might not fit our style of play.
"We know the type of playing style we have, we know the system - it's about bringing those players in.
"And we're certainly not panicking or rushing. There is lots of plate spinning and things can fall at different tines.
"We could have two or three coming through at once. We might have a break between players arriving.
"But we won't bring players in for the sake of it."
