West Bromwich Albion are chasing Lanus forward Mariano Pavone.
The Mirror says West Brom chief Dan Ashworth is flying to Argentina to scout players including Pavone.
Albion sporting director Ashworth has held initial contract talks with boss Roy Hodgson and is hopeful of keeping him.
