West Bromwich Albion chief Dan Ashworth is being linked with Liverpool.

Liverpool are on the lookout for a technical director after the sacking of Damien Comolli.

The Daily Mail says Ashworth could be a candidate on the domestic front, after being considered for the FA technical director role and hailed as the driving force behind a successful player recruitment campaign and improving Academy set-up at The Hawthorns.
