West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke are chasing Lille attacker Salomon Kalou.

The Mirror says Clarke worked with the Ivory Coast attacker when he was an assistant coach at Chelsea, and hopes that will help in his bid to bring him 'home' from French side Lille.

Kalou is looking for around £30,000-a-week, and West Brom may pay that this summer after losing last season's loan star Romelu Lukaku back to his parent club - ironically, Chelsea.
