West Bromwich Albion chairman Jeremy Peace is happy with their start under new manager Alan Irvine.
Peace has been impressed with the Scot since he hired him in mid-June and while the Baggies have only beaten League Two Oxford so far this term, the owner sees progress in other areas.
"He has been very good to work with throughout this window," Peace told the Birmingham Mail. "He has been very diligent, he hasn't just chucked names in, in terms of players to come into the squad.
"He has thought long and hard about it, spent a lot of time looking at all the clips and working with Terry (Burton).
"He is in here very early, he leaves very late. He is well organised. I can't fault him at all on his work ethic."
