West Bromwich Albion caretaker boss Keith Downing is delighted with the form of Saido Berahino.
The striker struck in their 3-3 draw at West Ham United this week.
"I'm really pleased with Berahino," said the Albion caretaker boss.
"I started here as a youth coach so I know Saido well.
"I've seen his progression through all the age groups and I know he's a talent and we saw that against West Ham.
"He's maturing. He's still got a lot to learn but he's working with good players around him and learning every day.
"He just has to deal with the success. Suddenly you become a household name and it's difficult for a young boy.
"I think he'll cope. He's got good people around him - like me telling him off every now and then.
"He's a young boy with massive adulation now and it's difficult for young boys to cope with all that so he will have to live and learn as he goes along.
"It's difficult to cope with all that at a young age.
"However old you are, you should learn from these experiences and I think Saido will do that."
