West Brom captain Darren Fletcher has welcomed the signing of Matt Phillips.

Fletcher thinks Phillips is a “terrific signing".

The duo have spent time together on international duty with Scotland and have been reunited after Phillips joined from QPR on a four-year deal.

"He's definitely a terrific signing for us," Fletcher told the West Brom website. “I think he's a fantastic player and a great addition to the squad - a really good guy too who is going to gel within the dressing room.

"He gets his head down and gets on with things and that's the kind of character the lads will enjoy having around."
