West Bromwich Albion skipper Chris Brunt insists manager Alan Irvine isn't to blame for their inconsistent form.
Irvine is amongst the favourites to be the first Premier League manager to be sacked this season, with West Brom taking just one point from their last five matches.
But Brunt says: "It's nothing to do with the coaching staff or the manager.
"They put everything in place for us to go out and try and perform.
"He's a good coach, he leaves no stone unturned but over the last few weeks the performances on the pitch haven't been good enough. We haven't done our jobs properly."
