West Bromwich Albion skipper Chris Brunt has had to play catch-up in terms of match fitness because of a calf injury suffered during the pre-season trip to Sweden. Then when he returned to the side he sustained a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw at Aston Villa 10 days ago.
The Northern Ireland international said: "To get injured again at Villa was a big disappointment to me because it's been such a disjointed season already with the injury I picked up pre-season.
"To get back into the starting XI for the second league game in a row was a big plus, so for it to end that way at Villa was really frustrating.
"I'm just hoping I can have an injury-free run to the end of the season."
