West Brom boss Tony Pulis has denied reports he's ready to walk away.
He's told the club's new owners that he needs five new players in but concern grows as the transfer window prepares to shut.
But Pulis is adamant he won't walk, giving a sharp 'No' at the very mention of the subject.
He said: “It's not a case of walking out. We're waiting for new faces. You don't know what will happen.
“What if he sacks me? You just don't know. That's a question that remains to be seen."
Pulis added: “What I do know is we need players in and quickly. We've done hardly any business.
“We need five players in and that's going to be difficult. It's crucial. Forget about me – this is about the club and the supporters.
“We can't go into the season with what we've got. You're either in the game or you aren't. Just give me the players then let's look at things."
He added: “We have to get moving. I'm more concerned about the players and the club. I'm third or fourth in line at the moment."
