West Brom boss Tony Pulis is delighted he can count on Ben Foster this season.

Pulis has been hugely impressed with Foster throughout this season.

Alongside Matt Phillips and Gareth McAuley, the Albion shot-stopper is one of the candidates for player of the season.

“Ben has been smashing and he's been fantastic for us all year," said Pulis. “I was at Stoke with him when he was a young lad and he went to Man United.

“He was out on loan at Wrexham when Sir Alex bought him.

“This is only the second year he's played for me because he was out for 18 months with a knee injury.

“I can't really say he's better than this or that, but since he's come back from the injury he has been very good for us."
