West Brom boss Pulis: Yacob can be our Jedinak

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis is keen to get Claudio Yacob back to his best.

Pulis has likened the Argentine to Crystal Palace captain Mile Jedinak.

"He sits in front of the two centre halves and he knows that position," Pulis told the Express & Star. "We had a lad at Palace - Jedinak - who did exactly the same for us.

"Claudio is a good lad. He knows the position and it's nice to work with him.

"He's a solid citizen. I saw him play when my teams at Stoke played against Albion and former managers always played him.

"They always played him and Youssouf Mulumbu sat in there and the two of them did very good jobs in there to help the other players.

"If you look at Chris Brunt, Craig Gardner, James Morrison and Graham Dorrans, they are more forward-thinking players so you need to get the balance right."
