West Brom boss Tony Pulis wants answers from the FA over what they spend managers' fines on.
Pulis spoke out after his pal, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, was hit with a £50,000 fine and a suspended one-match stadium ban for blasting referee Robert Madley in the wake of the 3-1 defeat to Southampton.
He said: "I've been fined a few times by the FA for stepping out of line.
"But my argument is where does that money go? To charity or the hundreds of people jumping on the back of the Euros?
"When I was fined, I asked - no one could tell me. If you're going to take that sort of money off an individual, his money, then let's know where that money's going.
"I think £50,000 is an extraordinary amount of money.
"Sometimes managers go over the top and need a slap on the wrist, but we can't put ourselves in a position where we just nod our heads because we're frightened of being punished and fined £50,000."
