West Brom boss Tony Pulis has assured fans they're trying to bring in new signings.
The Baggies opened the season with victory at Crystal Palace.
Albion are currently sitting third in the embryonic Premier League table, but when Pulis was asked what his target was for the coming season was, he said to delay the answer.
"The next two weeks, come and ask me after that, and see what business we've done," he said.
"We're trying to do business, and then we'll go from there.
"The club has got a lot of players that have been here for a long time, they've been fantastic players, fantastic servants, but they need competition.
"I've been here now for 22 months, the club has almost stagnated, and it really needs to get on the front foot.
"It's the only club in the West Midlands in the Premier League this year, it's got fantastic support.
"The supporters and everybody around the place, we need a little bit of impetus, hopefully we'll get it in the next two weeks.
"It's a big two weeks for me and the football club."
