West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis says international friendlies should be banned.
Pulis has lost as many as 12 of his best players to international commitments this season.
"I personally don't think players should go away for friendly games," Pulis said.
"That should be a coaching week.
"If Roy (Hodgson, England manager) wants three or four days, let him coach them. He'll have a system he wants for the European Championships, work on that.
"Deal with the players, work with the players, get to know the players more.
"They have played enough games already, why do you want another friendly match?
"They are a waste of space for me really."
