West Brom boss Tony Pulis says defeat at Newcastle United was their worst performance of the season.
Albion failed to land a single shot on target for the third time in four league matches as Newcastle dominated from start to finish.
"I've been at the club for just over a year and that's probably the most disappointing away performance we've had," he said.
"The best way to describe it is that we were in a boxing match and we shadow boxed for 90-odd minutes.
"We never got close to them. When we had the ball our passing was poor and we've got some passers in the team.
"Newcastle were just better all round the pitch.
"It was only the last ten minutes we got up the pitch and created opportunities.
"Even then we didn't make the keeper make a save so it was a disappointing day for us."
