West Brom boss Tony Pulis insists James Morrison could be offered new terms.
The 29-year-old is out of contract and says there's an ominous silence on talks over extending his nine-year stay.
Morrison said: "It's not up to me. It's up to the club isn't it? I can't do 'owt if they don't speak to me."
But Pulis said: "I am not so sure that is true. I think there have been discussions.
"How far the discussions have gone I am not sure. But I wouldn't be worried if I was James.
"I think we have four or five people talking to the club about contracts now at the moment."
