West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has hinted they're back in talks with Bakary Sako.
Sako is a free agent after coming off contract at Wolves.
Asked about Sako, the West Brom head coach replied: "He is maybe one of six or seven players we have enquired about and are talking to. Some drop for you and some don't.
"I think the most important thing is everyone stays nice and patient. It's difficult but it is the feeding season and you have to careful about signing players who don't improve what you've got.
"We don't want to get in that situation.
"There are few players that I've asked about and been inquired about.
"There is one at the top of the list and you work your way down. You hope you get a couple at the top of the list. we'll wait and see."
