West Brom boss Tony Pulis hailed the commitment of Jonny Evans after their 1-1 draw with West Ham.
Pulis felt his side were fortunate to be only 1-0 goal behind at half-time but praised in particular the efforts of defender Evans, who played through the pain barrier.
Pulis said: “Evans hasn't trained all week and played with an injury.
“He had an injection at the bottom of his foot and didn't react well. He played in a lot of pain today but was exceptional."
