West Brom boss Tony Pulis says they offered Darren Fletcher terms before he left for Stoke City in a Bosman deal.
The former skipper has revealed he left for Stoke City on a free transfer in the summer because he felt under-appreciated at the Baggies.
"I think he was disappointed with the club not making him the offer he thought he was worth," said Pulis, when Fletcher's comments were put to him.
"That's Darren's view. I understand that. I don't think he would criticise the football club. I just think it was the offer.
"As I've said before, Darren was a great asset to this football club in the time he was here. I've got nothing but good to say about Darren."
