West Brom boss Tony Pulis is delighted with what he's seen from Salomon Rondon.

The hitman has only one goal in six games since his £12m summer switch from Zenit St Petersburg.

But Pulis said: “Salomon has been fantastic – and in every game he's played, he could have scored a goal or two. He's been desperately unfortunate not to get more.

“He has all the attributes of a top striker – he's quick, he can get down the sides of teams, he's good at holding the ball up and he's decent in the air.

“Now, we're just hoping he gets a little bit more luck in front of goal.

“As long as he keeps getting in the right positions, I'm sure he'll start scoring the goals.

“The big fee doesn't faze him – in fact, nothing does."
