West Brom boss Tony Pulis cannot guarantee Joleon Lescott staying.
West Brom rejected an approach from Aston Villa for Lescott last week but Pulis did not rule out the central defender – who has one year left on his contract – leaving the club.
"The situation is Joleon has trained with us today and hopefully he will train with us tomorrow and the next day and be involved in the Man City game," Pulis said.
When asked if Lescott would leave, Pulis replied: "Never say never to anything in football – I have told you that before – but as far as I am concerned, he has trained well today and we are looking forward to him being in the team and in the squad.
"He has missed the last couple of games for us but we are hoping he will be fit enough to be in the squad on Monday."
