West Brom boss Pulis: Berahino could've nicked Man Utd point

West Brom boss Tony Pulis felt Saido Berahino blew themselves a point after defeat at Manchester United.

With West Brom trailing 1-0, Berahino mis-timed a header six yards out to let United off the hook.

And Pulis said the miss cost his side dear.

"If you need a chance to drop to anyone - the gilt-edged chance - you're hoping it drops to Saido," Pulis said.

"He's missed a chance which could have got us something out of the game."

The Baggies boss had no complaints about referee Mike Dean's decision to award Juan Mata a late penalty which wrapped up the game.

"It's difficult for Mike," he said.

"You could feel, with a couple of minutes to go, that he might look at it differently.

"But the letter of the law says that if he's last man and he brings him down he has to send him off."
