West Brom boss Alan Pardew has fined Grzegorz Krychowiak for their touchline row last week.
Krychowiak was hit with a hefty £100,000 fine – even though the repentant midfielder apologised for stepping out of line against Leicester last week.
Pardew said: “The selection of the player won't be influenced. I told him how disappointed I was, I fined him and we move on.
“I actually really like him, as a person and as a footballer, so I was surprised by his actions.
“I said to him 'you need to watch the start of the second half, and if you see yourself you might have subbed yourself' and we had a little chuckle."
