Mowbray, under pressure as boss of the Premier League's bottom club, West Bromwich Albion, takes his team to Fulham today in desperate need of a change of fortune after eight defeats in their past nine away games.
Mowbray told the Mail on Sunday: "I've got the world telling me I'm doing this wrong and that wrong, and playing the wrong formation. But I will stay single-minded and focused on what I believe in.
"If the experts sitting on the sofas were good enough, they would all be doing this job themselves. Even when you get teams winning 10 games on the bounce, there are still people telling you that you are not doing something right.
"We did all right playing open, attacking football last season and I understand it's generally that much harder in the Premier League. I've got to keep going with what I believe is right, pick the team I want and play the way I want to play."
