West Brom boss Mowbray pleased with debut of Arsenal's Simpson

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray was pleased with the debut of Arsenal loan signing Jay Simpson in yesterday's 1-1 draw with FA Cup opponents Peterborough United.

"Jay's got to find his feet with us," Mowbray told WBA's website. "But he's looked good in training and is a young boy looking forward to the challenge.

"It's not easy coming into a game like today where the expectation is different from most weeks.

"But he'll be fine for us.

"He's a good lad and has got a good attitude to the game.

"He'll fit in well."
