West Brom boss Mowbray: No chance of selling best players

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is adamant he won't sell his best players in January.

"We have had no concrete bids for our players," he told the Birmingham Mail. "In my mind, there are players that we could sell if somebody made a bid, even though we don't particularly want to.

"But there are also some players in our squad who we just wouldn't sell, or my advice would be not to sell at any price.

"I don't see that scenario happening at this moment because we have gone a fair way down the road with loan signings now.

"I don't think we are going to throw all the work from the last few weeks out of the window and then start fresh negotiations to buy somebody because we're selling somebody. When you know there is no money, you stop looking at £5million centre-forwards because what is the point?"
