After thumping Middlesbrough on Saturday, West Brom boss Tony Mowbray has backed his old club to beat the drop.

He said: "I've got a lot of affinity for Middlesbrough and, particularly on the evidence of what we saw today, particularly in the first half, I think they will be fine.

"They've got enough quality players. I think they will be fine - just as long as it is not at our expense - as long as they can hold onto their best players."
