Ahead of West Brom's trip to Manchester United, manager Tony Mowbray admits he seeks out Sir Alex Ferguson for advice on signings.
"Every manager is in awe of his achievements and the way he continues to produce talented players," Mowbray told the Birmingham Mail. "I think he is very accessible to young managers and always returns your calls.
"An example of what all managers should be of having respect for each other whatever level you're at.
"He is always very aware of your results and how your team is doing.
"He makes you feel as though you are in the same industry doing the same job, which is what you are of course, but the respect is there.
"He is a good man to have a conversation with, but I haven't necessarily picked his brain on other things.
"I've asked him about players and whatever the other issues we have had discussions on but he is always very accessible."
