West Brom boss Tony Mowbray insists Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger should not be questioned.
Ahead of tomorrow's game, Mowbray told the Sunday Mercury: "You look at teams like Manchester United and Chelsea, and vast sums of money have been spent on world class players. Arsenal haven't really followed that pattern.
"Mr Wenger has his own philosophy about how to play the game. He has to be 100 per cent sure he is bringing in the right quality and the right personnel to his club so he takes his time on his signings.
"Arsenal aren't the same Arsenal they were with Vieira, Petit and Henry of course and yet they have Fabregas who is, I would suggest, one of the best players in the world. He has been missing from their team.
"I think it is easy for the media to try and apply pressure to clubs like Arsenal. Without their best players it is very difficult to compete right at the top.
"United, Liverpool and Chelsea have such huge squads that cost a lot of money. While Arsenal have spent money on the likes of Arshavin and Nasri recently, they are young players and I am pretty sure, like Fabregas, they will light up the Premier League when the time comes for them.
"Whether United's spending power and size just takes them away from everybody else we will have to wait and see but at the moment it looks like United are too powerful for everybody. Arsenal are getting judged on that."
