West Bromwich Albion boss Pepe Mel hopes to make a new striker signing this week.

Mel would still like one more striker in before Friday night's deadline.

"We need another striker - the club is working very hard to bring someone in.

"But I'm very happy with the Albion squad. I think we have enough to compete."
