West Bromwich Albion boss Pepe Mel has big hopes for skipper Chris Brunt.

Mel wants his midfield star to fill in at full back for the crunch relegation battle with West Ham United on Saturday.

Mel said: "I think he can do a good job in that position. He's the best option right now.

"It really is the most important of games for us. It's a cup final and can be THE game to spur us on and give us life. It's vital."
