West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine says Romelu Lukaku will live up to his price-tag at Everton.
The 21-year-old banged in 17 goals in 35 league matches during the 2012-13 campaign and fired West Brom to eighth.
Since then he has scored 16 more for the Goodison outfit and earned a £28 million permanent move from Chelsea.
Irvine told the Birmingham Mail: "He did really well at Everton last year and I wasn't surprised that they bought him.
"I was surprised at the fee because I didn't think Everton could have gone to that level but that shows how much they rate him and how important they feel he is and that says a lot about him straight away.
"You can understand the comparison. Drogba has been a magnificent player and still is.
"I think they've got some different traits. Romelu is already a top striker but he will continue to develop and Everton is a good place for him to be. With his attitude and personality he will continue to improve. Who knows, he could be a top, top player."
