West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine is happy standing by Chris Brunt as club captain.
Irvine is sticking by his current captain, Brunt - despite the fact the midfielder was given the bird in his last home appearance.
"I am perfectly happy with Chris Brunt being captain, you don't need an armband to be a leader," Irvine said.
"You can be a leader in many, many ways. You can be a leader off the pitch as well. Joleon has actually been an influence off the pitch when he hasn't been playing. I don't think I need to give him an armband to change that.
"And I'm really delighted with Chris Brunt and for Jonas Olsson to be captain the other night, I am happy with that as well."
