West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine is delighted with what he's seen from Sebastien Pocognoli.
Pocognoli has impressed the head coach with the manner in which he has quickly adapted to English football, following an uneasy opening few games during the pre-season schedule.
Irvine said: "Pocognoli actually probably shows how players can settle in because, when he first came, we were a bit alarmed about the way he was playing.
"Now we look at him and think he's a good player, which is what we thought he was before he came in.
"Some of the things he did was because of the culture he has come from. They play in a different way. His background is in different countries. They play in one particular way that we don't do. We play more zonal than they do. They follow players in."
