West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine has revealed Brown Ideye is getting amongst the goals.

The Nigerian has struggled since his summer arrival.

But Irvine told talkSPORT: "He came in without a pre season and, as typically happens with many people who are trying to catch up, he got injured. That set him back even further and it has been a long, hard road for him, but he has been showing up really well in training lately.

"We had a closed doors game during the week where he scored a couple of goals, so he is certainly a lot closer to being ready to play than he has been."
