West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson is tightlipped on the England job.
Hodgson has also been linked with the vacant England post as a possible successor to Fabio Capello but continues to make little comment on that possibility.
He said: "My line has been very simple. It's up to the FA to decide which candidate they want and when they decided on the candidate, they will progress it from there.
"That has been my line and will continue to be my line and I haven't talked about anyone else for the job or myself for the job."
